Essential Functions
The Work Study for the CFSP Field Placement is responsible for the following:
- Support updating all field-related documents (i.e handbook, memorandums, task lists, etc.)
- Communicate frequently with course instructors regarding curriculum needs.
- Manage doctoral placements and paperwork associated
- Support in the planning of the internship event for our program
- Support supervisor professional development
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Initiates tasks without being asked.
- Use sound judgment to function independently & to consult with course instructor.
- Professional demeanor and strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in data collection software such as Microsoft Excel and Qualtrics
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in the School Psychology program
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with canvas and excel is an asset.
- Knowledge of Colorado school districts is an asset
Working Environment
- Standard office environment.
- Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
- Noise level is quiet to moderate.
- Significant amount of work can be done at home at hours convenient for the student
Physical Activities
- Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
- Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.
Work Schedule
- Flexible; however, punctuality in meeting agreed-upon deadlines is crucial
- Must plan to meet with supervisor once a week for an hour during regular business hours
